Our spellbound trade name is taken from “ AWQASH”, which is some times called as “ Seven Awqash” because gentleman in quotation had seven worthy sons and they are GAFER, GEMI, BUCHO, IMO, CONTE, WEDAGE and GIGENA.
It is with esteemed pride privilege that we add and underline that the third Son, namely BUCHO is the great and devoted father of our diligent, enterprising.
The late MR Awqash lived in and around fourteenth century and it is worth to mention his great and most admired father who lived at the time of Emperor ZERAYOKOB. His name was ISMAN.
When ISMAN passed away he bequeathed to his children three things and the ring of “ TALISMAN” was given to the late MR Awqash. Thus the great and well-respected Awqash became the natural and chosen leader of his society.
The owners and directors of Awqash Travel and Tours are Ethiopians of many generations standing, who have all traveled widely throughout the country and have an excellent understanding of the needs and requirements of visitors to our subcontinent.
